  • Stump Grinding

    The price is determined by measuring the widest point of the stump. Sean will grind the stump 6-8 inches below grade. If the customer requests a deeper grind or to chase roots additional fees will apply.

  • Multiple Stumps

    Contact Sean for a free quote on multiple stumps. The more stumps you have the cheaper they get.

  • Neighborhood Discount

    Sean provides a good neighbor discount, encouraging collective projects. If you refer your neighbor to me for same day stump grinding, you receive a $50 discount!

What's the Timeframe for Stump Grinding?

The duration varies depending on the stump's size. Small stumps may only require 20 minutes, whereas larger ones can take a couple of hours. Rest assured, Sean’s equipment is both sizable and efficient, ensuring a swift and safe completion of the job.

Is Simply Stump’n, LLC Insured and Registered with the State of Minnesota?

Absolutely! Sean is fully insured and registered with the State of Minnesota Department of Agriculture Tree Care Registry.

Will You Remove Surface Roots as Well?

Absolutely! We offer surface root grinding services. Depending on the size, quantity, and length of the roots, additional fees may apply.

Will There Be a Large Hole Left After Completion?

Usually, Sean backfills the hole using the biodegradable wood chips and dirt produced during the stump grinding process. Ensuring there's no hazardous pit left in your yard.

Can I Plant a New Tree Where the Old Tree Was?

That can depend on multiple factors. Tree stumps can go very deep. Sometimes exceeding the depth of even the largest grinding machines. I can help you access the possibilities after the grind.

Can Your Machine Navigate Through My Gate or Tight Spaces?

Sean's machine is specifically designed to pass through a 36-inch gate, accommodating standard-sized gates or openings. Through an onsite inspection prior to the grind, I can make recommendations for tricky entryways.

What Payment Options Are Available?

Sean accepts cash, credit cards or Venmo. Payment is due in full upon completion of the job.
